These revenues are currently added to the GTR pool. Loss of these Contingency ($2,051) revenues will be incorporated into the bureau’s 5-year forecast for GTR. Personnel ($64,428) Out of the Mud ($46,622): Funding allocated to paving existing gravel streets. ($113,101) Sustainability ($9,346): Reductions would hinder the bureau’s ability to address commitments Revenue Recommended Total outlined in the City’s Climate Action Plan. Fund Transfers - Revenue ($113,101) Street Cleaning ($44,000): Reductions would affect the Central Business District. Miscellaneous Fund Allocation $0 Sunday Parkways ($11,082): Promotes healthy active living through a series of free events opening ($113,101) the city's largest public space - its streets - to walk, bike, roll, and discover active transportation. Service Impacts Director Park: In previous years, this small amount of Director Park funding has come in useful if a minor expense hit PBOT that was not eligible for Parking revenues or State Highway Fund due to the nature of the expense. Since these are undedicated General Fund resources, we were able to use these funds to show support for these types of expenses, and thereby prevent potential audit findings. Out of the Mud: Current projects programmed with this funding include Cully and Division/Midway. These projects are already underfunded and any reductions to out of the mud funding will continue to delay the construction of these streets. Sustainability: Would hinder the bureau’s ability to address commitments such as making low-carbon transportation options more affordable, safe, and accessible; using equitably designed pricing strategies and parking management to encourage less driving; developing strategies to reduce emissions from freight and delivery vehicles; and decoupling transportation funding from fossil fuels. Street Cleaning: Service impacts include a reduction in sweeping in the district from three times per week to two times per week and the limited application of liquid anti-icing efforts to only transit streets and street segments greater than 5% grade. Current program has all streets within the central business district receiving anti-icing application. After reduction, the anti-icing program would match criteria used in the rest of city. Sunday Parkways: Reductions would reduce safety programming for these events such as barricades, traffic control and parking signage, and traffic flagging. Equity Impacts Reduction in resources for these programs will have an impact on all Portlanders.
