Total Shootings, indicating that we have made the greatest progress regarding reducing total shootings, injury and non-injury. Demographic Analysis of Firearm Homicides, indicating that where resources and programming have been dedicated – namely focusing on young Black and Brown men who are associated with or actively involved in gangs/groups/crews – we are seeing the greatest reductions in firearm homicides. 12
Houseless Homicide Victims appear to be growing as a share of all homicides and suggest the need for dedicated cultural-competent CVI services to meet this emerging need. 13
